After this initial appointment, we will know what next steps we need to take, how long it may take and how much it will cost. Depending on what you are seeking (only a chiropractic adjustment, nutritional consult for chronic conditions, lifestyle and wellness coaching, comprehensive etc.) we do offer custom packages to help mitigate expenses. We want your health to be a priority not a burden.

It is possible we may take x-rays or order lab tests depending on the type of care you are seeking and state of your body. This helps us get a larger picture of what’s going on in your body and get more detailed in how we can best help you. Any potential additional fees will be discussed before you are charged so there are no surprises.

Chiropractic is widely recognized as one of the safest drug-free, non-invasive therapies available for the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal complaints. Although chiropractic has an excellent safety record, no health treatment is completely free of potential adverse effects. The risks associated with chiropractic, however, are very small. If you are an at risk patient, techniques can be modified to be incredibly gentle. Many patients feel immediate relief following chiropractic treatment, but some may experience mild soreness, stiffness or aching, just as they do after some forms of exercise. Current research shows that minor discomfort or soreness following spinal manipulation typically fades within 24 hours.

Many patients also ask if they are going to get “cracked” during our chiropractic adjustment - the answer: not necessarily. The primary goal of chiropractic is to recalibrate the nervous system and restore structural function to create ease rather than dis-ease in the body. Sometimes joints may crack in the process of doing this, but not always, as the crack is simply the release of a gas bubble from a change in pressure in the joint. We are a cash based practice, however, we are happy to provide you with a superbill you can submit to your insurance for possible direct reimbursement. We aim for quality over quantity as our appointments are a little longer than your average appointments while keeping our fees the same.
